I am a fun loving, caring and forgiving person and I strongly believe that life is too short to take little things for granted. I chose teaching because I want to make a difference in people's lives and encourage positive attiudes and lifestyles.
With a teaching career spanning 25+ years, the following pages contain a vast collection of photos grouped together by subject and/or theme. By providing evidence of learning in all areas of student development through photographs, we can visibly see the learning process. Learning is purposeful, social, representational, empowering, and emotional.

To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.

All these photos are specific to my students, my classes and my professional work. These images are strictly for inclusion in this edufolio and for no other purpose. Please note: I have tried to ensure that no names or sensitive details are used in this work.

Most things in life are moments of pleasure and a lifetime of embarrassment; photography is a moment of embarrassment and a lifetime of pleasure.
— Tony Benn
Displaying the students' work, efforts, ideas, and learning in a beautiful and respectful way supports our value in children to be capable, thoughtful, and creative. Taking their ideas and work seriously conveys to them that their efforts, intentions, and ideas are taken seriously.
